The Wildtop Soft Truck Cap was created by our team here in Australia to solve a common but difficult problem which was - we wanted a cover for our trucks that was inexpensive, capable of carrying the weight of our everyday items, spacious enough to give us flexibility to carry almost anything and lightweight so it was easy to take on and off. The WildTop Truck Cap is extremely lightweight weighing less than 44 lbs and lowers vehicle GVM to carry more.
Can i drive with the sides rolled up?
Yes! in 2024 we upgraded the magnets used in the straps that hold up the sides of the cap to allow users to drive with the sides rolled up.
Do you have a phone number I can call?
We currently do not offer phone support - instead, we offer prompt email support and live chat. We do this for a few reasons, which we're happy to share here. Firstly, when we used to offer phone support, these queries represented a relatively small number of enquiries but they could be quite time-consuming. Email support allows us to prioritise urgent queries, as well as to ensure we can get the right support person onto your enquiry promptly and provide the right information first time. Focusing on email support means we can utilise the skills of our team while keeping our overheads (and therefore our prices) low.
What tools do I need to install?
As a general guide for the majority of our products you will require a drill, pop rivet gun, 4mm drill bit, pencil and tape measure, however this may vary with different models. For exact requirements, see the fitting instructions available on each product page.
How much is freight?
We offer free priority shipping to all 50 USA states. Please refer to our Shipping and Delivery page for more information.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Your order will be dispatched within 5 business days after your payment has been cleared. Please note our products are shipped from Victoria, Australia and will be shipped via priority air freight and therefore delivery can take between 4 to 6 business days, depending upon your location.

What is your returns policy?
We offer free returns for 30 days from the date you receive your order. You can return the product to us as long as it is in its original condition, complete with its fitting kit. We may ask you why you want to return it as your feedback will allow us to further improve our systems and processes.

How long until I get my money back after I have returned an item?
We will issue your refund after we have received the item back into our warehouse.
N.B. Please follow the return instructions listed here on our website very carefully so as to avoid any delays in processing your refund.
How long is the warranty and what does it cover?
We offer a 2 year warranty against manufacturing and material faults under normal use. Under this warranty, if a product is wrongly described, faulty or damaged, you may choose between a replacement or refund. Under these circumstances WildTop will pay all of the return freight charges. This does not cover damaged items resulting from abuse, misuse, alteration, accident, damage in transit. Please note that items will need to be returned in their original condition in terms of both the product and its packaging. Please Note: This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is not transferrable.
WildTop Truck Cap Warranty:
- Frame and Canvas Cap - 2 years against manufacturing and material faults under normal use.
- PVC Windows are warranted for a period of 1 Year from date of purchase for all orders after 5th April 2024 (For orders before 5 April 2024 the warranty is 6 months).
- Zipper fade not warrantable.
- If you wish to make a warranty claim please contact us to obtain a Return Authorisation (RA) Number.
- The RA number will need to be clearly written on the outside of the packaging when the goods are returned to us for processing.
Any unauthorised returns will be refused by our Receiving Department and returned to the sender at the sender’s expense.
2. Returns Policy
We realise that things don't always go as expected, and sometimes items may have to be returned e.g. you have received the wrong item, or maybe you have just changed your mind. As such, we offer a 30-day no fuss returns period. Truck Caps can be returned within 30 days of receiving your order for a full refund, customer will be in charge of the return shipping costs. All returns must be returned in the original box and in like-new working condition to receive a full refund. If not, your refund amount may be reduced. Any custom made products or accessories cannot be returned.
To return your order, please email us at sales@solssentials.com to obtain a Return Authorisation (RA) Number and the RA number will need to be clearly written on the outside of the packaging when the goods are returned to us for processing.
Under the 2 year warranty, we will repair any manufacturers fault on the product or if we cannot repair it we will replace it for you free of charge. This does not cover items damaged as a result of abuse, misuse, negligence, alteration, accidents, not used in accordance with the installation instructions, damage in transit, or the like. Colour fading is a normal process that happens to fabric in the sun. It is not a warranty issue.
Christmas Holiday Returns:
We understand that everyone is busy during the Christmas Holiday period and sometimes things can be overlooked. We have therefore developed our holiday Returns Policy to give you some extra time this Christmas to do the things you want to do without having to worry about your online purchases.
Therefore, all WildTop Truck Caps ordered at wild-top.com between December 1st and December 31st in any particular year, may be returned up until January 31st the following year, subject to our other return guidelines, which are listed on this page.
