Installation Guide

All you need to install a 4X4 Colorado Tent is a set of crossbars (the bars which go horizontally across your roof).
The crossbars should be at least 30 inches apart and have a weight rating that is equal to or greater than the weight of the tent.
It’s not important which style of crossbar you have (round, square, aero, etc.), although the aero style bars do provide a wider platform for your tent.
Roof racks are rated by the DYNAMIC load (the weight the bars or roof can support while the vehicle is in motion, e.g., when you're rocking side to side down a rough trail, or under hard braking) – the load that the vehicle and rack can carry when you’re parked is a STATIC load and can be as much as 7x the dynamic rating.

The Stratus Tent is designed in Colorado and manufactured at our factory overseas with high-quality raw materials, and careful attention to detail. 2-3 Adults can fit comfortably on the incredibly soft mattress. You can even comfortably sleep a child or furry friend along with you.

BUILT TO LAST

Most tents are made from polyester that restricts airflow and collects condensation. The Stratus is the result of many years of trial and error; it has breathable, water-resistant 600D oxford canvas. The thicker material, waterproof zippers, and rain fly keep you dry and stay quieter on windy days.
