The 23Zero Armadillo AX2 is a premium aluminum roof tent designed for comfort, durability, and adventure. With a spacious full-size bed, quick setup, and innovative features, it’s the perfect companion for overland journeys.

The side-opening design is deployable in the right or left-side configuration, making it adaptable to various vehicle setups without compromising aerodynamics. Its gas-strut-assisted X-frame allows for rapid deployment and pack-down, saving you time and effort after a long day on the trails. The raised X-frame design not only provides 18” of headroom but also enhances 360° views through large 49” x 21” side windows, optimizing ventilation and visibility.

Inside, the Armadillo AX2 roof tent offers a full-size sleeping platform (55” W x 81” L) with a 2” open-cell foam mattress and anti-condensation mat for comfort. ECO13B fabric with Light Suppression Technology (LST) ensures a cooler, darker interior, so you can sleep in even after sunrise. Additional features include a clear rainfly window for stargazing, built-in dimmable LED lighting, and internal organizer pockets to keep your essentials within easy reach.

The Armadillo AX2 is engineered with durability in mind, featuring a robust aluminum shell and heavy-duty latches to protect against rain, snow, and dust. A preinstalled roof rack allows you to mount solar panels or recovery gear. With ample internal storage, including a boot bag and ladder cover with additional compartments, this roof tent offers convenience for overlanding and camping.

Before you install a roof tent, it’s critical to understand these key points: 

• Verify your vehicle’s maximum roof load capacity as specified by the manufacturer.
• Consult with the rack manufacturer or retailer to check the load limit of your roof rack or truck bed rack, especially for off-road use. 
• Understand that the maximum allowable weight you can safely add to your vehicle’s roof or cargo area may vary depending on the make and model of the vehicle, as well as any aftermarket additions such as roof racks or bars.

When will I know my order has shipped?

As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail.  This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase.  As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment.  If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail.  If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment. If, for some reason, there is a delay in stock, we will contact you before accepting payment.

When will my order ship?

If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within 2-5 business days from the date of your order.  We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out.  If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at support@solssentials.com.

Cancellations (Before Order Ships)

Cancellations of Custom Orders

Custom or made to order products cannot be canceled or refunded as these products are put into production specifically for your order. 

These units, are custom made to your specification or created once you order. Once you place your order they start building your unit. Your warranty will guarantee you a fully functional and operational product. If it is not clear whether your order is custom or made to order, please message or call us. 

All sales are final for Custom made and Made-to-order products.

Refunds and Returns

If you need to exchange your product, you may do so. You, as the customer, are responsible for any shipping costs throughout any returns and exchange processes. 

Not all orders are available for return once they have shipped. We order our products directly from the manufacturer. Therefore, if the manufacturer will not permit us to return a product, we cannot offer you a return. This often varies on a case-by-case basis; please reach out to us if you would like specific information on your brand and/or product. 

Due to drastically increasing LTL/freight shipping costs, any outright returns will incur 25% cancellation fee + return shipping costs. If you are replacing the product with something else, we may be able to help you cover some of the costs depending on the product. 

Shipping Times

We promise to do our best to get your order to you as soon as possible.  We provide estimated shipping times on the product pages based upon what our suppliers and freight companies tell us, and those estimated shipping times may change or vary without notice (Due to supply chain issues, the steel mills behind on making metal, the manufacturers delayed because of the mills, the overwhelmingly demand on shipping, factory/warehouse and dock workers and so on). 

Order delays have proven to be unavoidable and outside of Solssentials control. While this might be frustrating, we ask you to please be patient and understanding with us in these tough times. We thank you for your business and appreciate your patience.

Warranty

Warranties vary depending upon the manufacturer - see individual product pages for details. Warranty damages occur over time and from use. If an item was damaged upon arrival, and not reported within 30 days, that is not a warranty claim.

All 23Zero products to the highest standards to ensure they last in the most challenging outdoor conditions. We proudly take responsibility for the high quality of our range of products.

23Zero warrants to the original purchaser (non-transferable) that its products are free from defects in material and workmanship. We provide two (2) years manufacturer’s limited warranty for the rooftop tents covering the main body of the tent. We provide a one (1) year manufacturer’s limited warranty for the transit cover and transit cover straps. We reserve the right to prorate the warranty based on usage. For additional warranty periods, please refer to the chart below.

The warranty does not cover ordinary wear and tear, damage caused by improper use, storm damage, improper cleaning, accidents, lack of general or improper maintenance, driving under car parks, hitting products against hard surfaces, damage caused by car washes, fires, sparks, abuse, alterations, animal attacks, acts of God, UV exposure, or zipper wear. Using 23Zero products for full-time, commercial, or rental situations voids all warranties. 23Zero reserves the right to determine quality standards under this warranty policy.  

Replacement parts may consist of used parts of like or better quality compared to the original parts.

Once you exercise the warranty for a product, the warranty doesn’t reinstate to a new or replacement product.

THERE ARE NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES BEYOND THE TERMS OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. IN NO EVENT SHALL 23ZERO BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. The warranty is only available to products purchased in the USA and physically present in the lower 48 states.
